Nigel Farage has accused the Green Party of cheating after their historic win in the Gorton and Denton by-election.
The vote saw the Green Party’s Hannah Spencer win the by-election by more than 4,000 votes, with Reform’s Matt Goodwin finishing in second whilst Labour, who had previously held the seat with a 13,000 vote majority, finished a disappointing third.
Not many expected the Greens to win with such clear daylight, following on from heavy campaigning from the three biggest runners, as well as polls claiming the by-election was too tight to call.

The win is the first ever Westminster by-election victory for the Greens and means Spencer becomes their fifth MP in the House of Commons.
Reacting to the by-election result, Nigel Farage accused the Greens of cheating.
Taking to X he wrote: "This election was a victory for sectarian voting and cheating.
"Matt Goodwin was a great candidate for us.
"Roll on the elections on May 7th. It will be goodbye Starmer and goodbye to the Tory party."
Reform have been accusing the Greens of benefiting from 'family voting', despite the Greens winning by 4,000 votes.
Before that statement, Farage took aim at Muslim communities, claiming that these areas had seen a rise in family voting and were undermining the "democratic process"
These claims appear to be feeding into further prejudices held by the Reform Party with candidate Matt Goodwin openly condemning "a dangerous Muslim sectarianism".
He wrote in a Trump-esque style on X: “We are losing our country.
"A dangerous Muslim sectarianism has emerged. We have only one general election left to save Britain.
"Vote Reform every chance you get.
"I will continue the fight. I will always fight for you. I will stand at the next general election.”
Maybe, just maybe, these guys don't know how to take a loss...
