With the government planning to end freedom of movement at midnight on October 31, EU nationals living in the UK and British citizens gathered outside the Home Office to protest against this move. Fearing that many people who have resided in the UK for more several years, sometimes decades, could be forced out, protestors told JOE: "I feel like this government, this whole country, has become more hostile to foreigners."
