Yeovil Town captain Lee Collins has died at the age of 32, the club announced on Thursday. Collins joined the club in 2019 from Forest Green Rovers, having previously played for Port Vale, Northampton and Mansfield, among other clubs. He played his last game for the club February 6th, against Stockport. The club are yet to reveal the cause of death, but they have confirmed that their next match, against Altrincham on Friday, has been posted.

"All at Yeovil Town Football Club are mourning the loss of club captain Lee Collins," a club statement read.

"Lee sadly passed away yesterday and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

"We ask everyone to respect the family's privacy at this time."
