A number of banks have suffered a major outage this morning with potentially millions of customers being affected.
As per countless users on social media, as well as live data from Downdetector, at least four major banks are experiencing service outages, two most prominently.
Both customers of Revolut and Lloyds have reported issues with their accounts.
Revolut customers have reported not being able to use their cards, while Lloyds customers are saying online banking isn't working.
Furthermore, Downdetector has picked up a spike in problems reported concerning HSBC and Bank of Scotland.
Revolut were the first to acknowledge the issue, releasing a statement this morning which read: "We are currently experiencing a service disruption affecting multiple services.
"We can confirm that all our customers’ money and data are safe.
"We’ve been working to fix the issue since it was identified this morning and apologise to anyone affected and for any inconvenience caused."
Meanwhile, a number of people have reported not being able to send money on Lloyds online banking.
The outage is reported to be due to issues faced by Google Cloud, which is also reporting problems on Downdetector.
Google has said that "multiple Google Cloud services are experiencing elevated errors and intermittent network failures in europe-west2 region", - its London-based centre.
Revolut has around 13 million customers in the UK while Lloyds has around 28 million.
