Wrexham fans beg Ryan Reynolds to buy Erling Haaland after selling mobile phone company for £1billion

‘Bodes well for Wrexham’s chances of signing Haaland and Mbappe next year’

Wrexham fans are urging Ryan Reynolds to buy Erling Haaland after selling his mobile phone company in a billion-dollar deal.

T-Mobile announced Wednesday that it is buying Mint Mobile in a larger deal for up to $1.35 billion. The acquisition of Mint Mobile’s parent Ka’ena Corporation will also include Ultra Mobile, an international calling service, and wireless wholesaler Plum, CNN Business reported.

Reynolds purchased a minority ownership stake in Mint Mobile in 2019 and will stay on in his “creative role on behalf of Mint,” a press release confirming the deal, stated.

Wrexham fans thinks the Deadpool star should invest his earning in the club that he and fellow actor, Rob McElhenney, purchased in November 2020.

The stars have catapulted the profile of the Welsh club and starred in a docu-series about their unlikely ownership of Wrexham AFC football club, with an official synopsis reading: “Welcome to Wrexham is a docuseries tracking the dreams and worries of Wrexham, a working-class town in North Wales, UK, as two Hollywood stars take ownership of the town’s historic yet struggling football club.”

Now fans want the pair to buy Norwegian professional footballer, Erling Braut Haaland, widely considered one of the best players in the world.

Haaland currently plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City and the Norway national team.

Many fans simply tweeted: “Haaland to Wrexham!”

Another Twitter user wrote: “Sweet. Hopefully, Wrexham will buy Haaland next window.”

Taking it one step further, a third added: “Bodes well for Wrexham’s chances of signing Haaland and Mbappe next year.”
