The brownie contains the equivalent of 25 joints

A company in Massachusetts has created the ‘world’s largest’ weed brownie – and is selling the bad boy.

MariMed, a cannabis operator in the US state, decided to create the monster edible to celebrate National Brownie Day and a new product they’re launching – Bubby’s Baked.

These are ”soft-baked brownie bites’ that have weed inside them. So to celebrate the launch of the product, they decided to make one massive version of the treat.

It’s thought to be the largest in the world, measuring three feet long, standing 15 inches tall and weighing in at a staggering 385 kg.

According to Boston.com, the weed brownie contains a ridiculous 20,000mg of THC, the chemical in weed that gets you high.

For context, the average weed brownie usually contains between 2.5mg and 50mg of THC.

The amount of THC in this brownie therefore equates to roughly 25 pre-rolled joints.

Ryan Crandall, Chief Product Officer at MariMed, told TMZ: “We wanted to do something big to celebrate the launch of our Bubby’s Baked infused baked goods line, and what could be bigger than the World’s Largest Cannabis Brownie.”

It reportedly took five people an entire day to create the titanic brownie and required an ingredients list of 1,344 eggs and 36 kilograms of flour – along with a lot of sugar and weed.

An official price hasn’t been placed on the brownie but it will reportedly be sold and distributed in pieces to medical patients across Massachusetts.

In a statement, Crandall added: “For many of us, homemade brownies were our first taste of cannabis-infused edibles.

“Bubby’s recreates and elevates that nostalgic experience, infusing full-spectrum, craft-quality cannabis into timeless recipes, for a reliable high reminiscent of simpler times.”
