A woman has died after being hit by a train at Bethnal Green station this morning
Both police officers and paramedics were called to Bethnal Green station just before midday on Saturday.
Images shared on social media showed several emergency service vehicles at the scene including fire engines and police cars.

The woman's age is still unknown.
The incident led to the station being closed and the central line being suspended, causing severe delays to the London underground service well into Saturday afternoon.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 11.58am to Bethnal Green Station, Cambridge Heath Road to reports of a person hit by a train.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and our hazardous area response team.
"Sadly, the patient died at the scene."
