Being a professional footballer takes amazing sacrifice.
Players have to give up all manner of luxury and vices in order to keep their bodies in tip top conditioning and firing properly.
No smoking, no booze and no fried food. Nandos is a treat because it's so heavy in protein. You can't go out partying too often so nights in with FIFA or your favourite boxset is the preferred pastime.
There's a lot of footballers who's main hobby is sleep, just to make sure their in prime condition.
What we're trying to say is, being a footballer is hard, and you miss out on a lot of opportunities we civilians take for granted.
At least until you retire.

Former Liverpool man and Kraken whisperer John Arne Riise has decided to move on, try new things and have new experiences now that
the footballing chapter of his life has ended.
One of the things he can now cross off his bucket list is tasting beer, as the Norwegian posted a video on his Instagram of himself having his first, and almost definitely last swig of the nectar of the Gods (always drink responsibly and all that).
When the first few drops of the acidic liquid tingled his tastebuds, his face almost instantly contorted to a mighty grimace which is the universal language for "this is disgusting".
He confirmed in the caption that he is unlikely to try the drink ever again saying, "Tried beer for the first time. Not for me, thank you."
