A UK travel company has collapsed stopping all tours and flights, leaving customers with holidays cancelled.
The travel firm was known for offering small group tours and package holidays to a number of Asian destinations, including the likes of holiday hotspots such as Thailand and Japan.
Asiara Holidays offered package holidays across Thailand, China, India Japan and Singapore, but has left customers in the dark after it ceased trading this week.
Originally, the travel company was known as Haivenu Tours and had offices in Vietnam, before expanding into the UK in 2022 as Asiara Holidays, being based out of Ipswich.
The company had first filed to be struck off the Companies House register in October 2025, but was finally dissolved for good on 13 January.
As of 21 January, the travel firm has stopped trading as an ATOL holder, as per the Civil Aviation Authority.
Despite the collapse, customers will be able to receive a refund through ATOL and Protected Trust Services (PTS).
For the time being, the company's website appears to still be working.
However, for any British customers affected, they are advised to "contact PTS directly by emailing emma.collis@protectedtrustservices.com."
This collapse is just the latest of travel firms to cease trading in the UK, following a number of others this year.
Gold Crest Holidays fell into liquidation at the end of last month while Regen Central Ltd also fell to the same fate a matter of days before.
This reflects a continuing struggle for businesses in the UK as the high street also suffering from a number of collapses across major store chains.
