Tourists have cancelled trips amid fears over the prediction of a catastrophic event by the ‘new Baba Vanga’.

Japanese woman, Ryo Tatsuki, has been compared to Baba Vanga who was renowned for her chilling but accurate predictions.

She predicted events such as 9/11 and the death of Princess Diana.

A book was released in 2021 entitled The Future I Saw, detailing visions Tatsuki had seen.

Unfortunately, some of her predictions were accurate, such as Japan’s 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

The devastation claimed the lives of over 18,000 people.

It is believed that she also foreseen the death of Freddie Mercury and the 1995 Kobe earthquake.

The book warned of a devastating event set to take place in July of 2025.

Unsettling stuff…

This predicted event is thought to hit Japan on July 5.

CNN has reported that Tatsuki warned of ‘a crack will open up under the seabed between Japan and the Philippines, sending ashore waves three times as tall as those from the Tohoku earthquake’.

The book also sees Japan’s oceans ‘boiling’, which some have interpreted to be a prediction of a volcanic eruption from underwater.

As a result of the bleak prediction, tourists have been cancelling their trips to the country for July.

Speaking to CNN, managing director of WWPKG, a travel agency based in Hong Kong, CN Yuen, explained that bookings to Japan dropped by 50 percent over the Easter.

This figure is expected to drop even more over the coming months.

Tourists concerns were further raised when the Chinese embassy in Tokyo issued a warning about natural disasters in Japan.

According to South China Morning Post, last month, the embassy told those who were living in or planning to travel to Japan to take extra precautions against natural disasters.
