“The most British thing I’ve ever seen.”
We’re only in the early stages of 2018 but ITV has a very strong contender for the blooper of the year. Granted, it’s not quite as good as those two kids that walked in on their dad’s discussion about South Korean politics, but it’s a good omen for the bloopers to come in 2018.
Earlier this evening, the ITV News at Ten had to end early because a fire alarm went off.
Ever the professional, anchorman Tom Bradby handled the whole thing with grace, calm and professionalism.
Here’s what we think was actually going on behind the scenes.
Na, it was all very proper, dignified and well, odd.
It’s fair to say that plenty of people noticed this ‘disturbance’ on their TV screens.
That's a very British way of announcing a fire alarm ITV News. ‘Right, well I’m awfully sorry, these things happen and we have to evacuate’ Just go Tom we don't want you catching fire politely letting the public down on missing the news
