Teenager stabbed to death close to Prince George’s primary school, two arrested

A man has been killed less than half a mile away from where Prince George goes to school

A man has been killed less than half a mile away from where Prince George goes to school

Two people have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed to death in Battersea, London.

The two men, aged 19 and 27, were arrested after presenting themselves at a hospital.

Police were called to Wolsey Court, off Westbridge Road, Battersea, at shortly before 8pm to reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and found a 19-year-old man with stab injuries..

Despite the efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene at 8.36pm.

The killing took place less than half a mile from Prince George’s primary school.

The Metropolitan Police said a murder investigation has been launched and that the two men were taken to separate police stations. The victim’s next of kin have been informed.

A crime scene remains in place and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course. Formal identification awaits and enquiries continue
