The wife of Texas senator and now former US presidential hopeful Ted Cruz had to suffer the sorrow of watching her husband give up on his dreams - then get hit in the face repeatedly, as Ted Cruz reminded the world that his mannerisms are so alien-level strange that he almost makes Donald Trump look borderline human.
