Suspect held as motorist reportedly drives vehicle on to New York cycle path and opens fire

A suspect has been arrested after people were reportedly shot by the driver of a vehicle in New York City.

The incident is believed to have taken place at around 3.20pm local time near the West Side Highway in Lower Manhattan, close to World Trade Center.
