Ryanair is offering £9.99 flights to Europe because of the EU Referendum

At least one nice thing that's taken a tumble

The EU referendum results are in and everything has taken a tumble.

The value of the pound. The Prime Minister. The mood of “Remain” voters. Everything.

Including cheap flights to Europe.

Low flight airline Ryanair is having a special 24 hour sale on Friday 24 June where you can catch a flight to Europe from prices starting as low as £9.99.

Ryanair Sale

1 million cheap seats to various locations around Europe have been on sale since midnight, allowing customers to take flight between October and November.

Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: “As the UK’s largest airline, Ryanair hopes the UK will vote to Remain in the EU.

“To celebrate what we pray will be a big Remain majority, we’re launching a 1 million seat sale with fares to Europe starting from just £9.99 – less than the UK’s £13 travel tax – for travel in October and November, just after midnight tonight until midnight (24.00hrs) Friday.

“Just like the EU Referendum , these fares are once in a lifetime and will be snapped up quickly, so customers should log onto www.ryanair.com before they sell out.

“And if the Leave side do win, then these will be the last low fares the UK will enjoy for a very long time.”

So you better move quick to enjoy your winter holiday – as prices are about to go up. Just a shame Euros are a bit more expensive now eh?
