Meanwhile, the lawsuit itself was settled on Thursday, February 17, with accuser Virginia Giuffre agreeing to a payment of approximately £12m in lifelong damages.
Giuffre (formerly known as Roberts) had previously said she would not accept a purely "financial settlement". However, given the 62-year-old maintains that the allegations are not only false but that he had never met her, a settlement seemed to be the only resolution.
