Police declare ‘major incident’ after apparent explosion in Leicester

Leicestershire Police have said they are dealing with a 'major incident' in Leicester City Centre after an apparent explosion in the Hinckley Road area of the city. Six fire engines have been sent to deal with the incident, while the public have been asked to stay away from the area.
