We've all seen the swashbuckling saga Pirates of the Caribbean.

Well get ready for the Pirates of Iceland. There might be fewer parrots, eye patches and no Captain Jack Sparrow, but the small Nordic nation could have modern day 'pirates' at the helm. If they get into government when elections are held in 2017 it could mean asylum or even citizenship is granted to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. Well shiver me timbers.
