Pep Guardiola has spoken out regarding the England managerial vacancy in a recent interview.
There has been huge speculation linking him to the Three Lions post following Gareth Southgate's departure.
After winning yet another Premier League title last term, it's clear that fans would love to have the genius boss at the helm of the national team.
Often open regarding answering questions on his future, Guardiola addressed the media talk in an interview:
"I have to decide what I want to do with my life, stay here, take a break, national team.
"But right now I am here and fully excited for the season."
Guardiola also spoke regarding the future of Julian Alvarez in the press-conference.
Speaking on the player departing, he stated:
"His contributions have been massive, he is incredible. But, like I said many, many times with players, if he wants to leave and wants a new challenge I let him. It is a top, top club in Spain and in Europe.
"Why should he stay here if he doesn't want to stay?
"I learned a lot with him and I hope he can find what he is looking for."
Whilst England are yet to appoint a long-term manager, Lee Carsley has been announced as the interim head coach.
He will take charge of two Nations League games against the Republic of Ireland and Finland next month.
