He continued watching it after a flight attendant asked him not to
A business class passenger has called out a fellow traveller for watching hardcore porn during a long-haul flight.
The Californian mum posted pictures on Twitter supposedly showing a male passenger on a United Airlines flight viewing adult material on his phone.
The Twitter user, Jen, asked United Airlines “are there no consequences for watching porn on your planes?”
The woman said the passenger “watched porn on and off for most of the flight” despite being asked not to by a flight attendant after she showed him the pictures she had taken on her phone.
She said the man stopped temporarily, but then proceed to watch it again with the sound on.
“There were people up and about in the cabin including minors who could have seen what this man was doing.”
The woman then asked the airline “to take further action” since “as a woman, this behaviour made me feel unsafe!”
United Airlines responded to the tweet, writing: “We’re truly sorry that this has been your experience. This is very concerning to hear.”
The airlines promised to look into the matter and asked the woman to send them her flight details.
Some commenters were more concerned with the woman taking pictures of other passengers and suggested she not look.
