The people of Paris are opening their doors to those affected by this evening's tragic events.
The people of France are still trying to come to terms with tonight’s events in Paris, after a series of explosions and shootings in the city resulted in multiple fatalities.
Incidents at locations across the French capital – including the Stade de France, Bataclan concert hall, Les Halles shopping mall and several restaurants in the city – have resulted in the deaths of up to 120 people in events that have reverberated around the world.
Despite having to come to terms with what has happened in their city, residents of Paris have been using a special hashtag to offer assistance and shelter to those directly affected by this evening’s events, with the #PorteOuverte(Open Door) hashtag already receiving thousands of retweets.
