There are three places in the UK that should be avoided in case World War III breaks out, a former US Air Force nuclear protection specialist has warned.
National security expert Gene Sticco has revealed for Mirror that there are three UK towns you should avoid in the event of a third World War.
His words of warning come at a time of atomic warnings by Russia, as tensions between the Russian Federation and the West appear to be escalating.
On the other hand, Russian Major General of Aviation, Vladimir Popov, this week responded to NATO’s plans to strike Russia in a “more aggressive way”.
And such plans could lead to "full-scale nuclear war", he says.
But what three towns in the UK should you avoid if that does indeed happen and bombs start dropping?
When asked to name the city or town in the UK in which an enemy would likely launch an attack, national security expert Gene Sticco warned that “anywhere near the US and NATO facilities, otherwise the key military centres: Telford, Plymouth, South Yorkshire and the Southeast and Southwest of England”.
He argues that Naval centres are the places which are the strength and lifeline of the UK.
The latest warning comes as Alexander Grushko, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, claimed that Europe is “actively preparing” for war and issued a WW3 warning, just days after the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, said that the rumours of a conflict with Europe are “outright lies and nonsense”.
