Melissa Sloan has spent years building up her body art getting at least 3 tattoos a week.
She even went so far as to order a tattoo gun for her home, so that her partner Luke can help her with getting some new ink from the comfort of her own home.
The 46-year-old has in the past said she will "never stop" adding more art to her body, but for now Sloan has in fact put a ban on herself getting any new ones.
The mum of seven explained that she wants to get pregnant with her eighth child, and she is willing to abstain from going under the needle for nine months if it happens.
"I won’t be having tattoos for about nine months. Well, you can have tattoos but I won’t be doing that," she told the Daily Star.
"I just worry that it would harm the child, the baby that will be inside me. I’ll give up the smoking as well and I don’t drink."
There is a lack of research as to whether getting a tattoo while pregnant can be harmful to the baby, although there is a very small chance that the chemicals may affect development in the first trimester.
Sloan is estranged from five of her kids, but lives with the two that she has with Luke, Autumn, 11, and Summer, nine.
The mum has been a victim of hate in the past, and fears she may be met with the same reception if she falls pregnant again.
"There will be some haters out there again," she said.
"I know that will happen but who cares, this is what we want. My daughters keep going on and on and on all the time.
"I think this will be the making of me though, the final chapter. Luke has always wanted a son and I don’t care if I have a boy or a girl. We’ve just got to do it now."
