An Arizona mother decided to dress up as a cat for a school board meeting in protest against the school's so-called "woke agenda."
Lindsey Graham, a conservative and published author who hosts the 'Patriot Barbie' podcast, made headlines after video showed her in the feline costume and makeup, inspired by board member, Paul Bixler.
Bixler, 72, a retired teacher and principal, is transgender and identifies as a woman. She was appointed to the Liberty School Board, which covers eight schools on the outskirts of metropolitan Phoenix, in 2021 after the election was canceled and is slated to serve out a term through December 2024.
At the meeting, Graham clearly addressed Bixler, and mocked the board member's gender identity as she proclaimed she identified as a cat.She said: "I'm a cat. Meow, meow. I'm not a woman dressed as a cat. I am a cat.
"How many of you believe and confess that I'm a cat? How many of you believe that your child or a child from this school would believe that I'm actually a cat?"
After nobody raised their hands, she continued: "No one. You're right. Truth prevails over imagination. Reality exists.
"Discernment is innate and something that we're wired to have. One look at me, and you know this to be true. I'm a woman posing as a cat."

The mother later spoke to Fox News about her anti-trans stunt, and voiced her anger at Bixler having an influence over school children.
She said: 'This was a local school in my neighborhood where there was a member of the school board whose name is Paul Bixler. He's a man, he's very clearly a man.'
Graham then complained that 'the only thing he does to identify as a female is put lipstick on. He grew his hair out a little bit, and he wears his deceased wife's clothing to school, to sporting events, to school events to fundraisers, school events in front of the children.'
She added: "The only thing he does to identify as a female is put lipstick on. He grew his hair out a little bit, and he wears his deceased wife's clothing to school, to sporting events, to school events to fundraisers, school events in front of the children.'She sees it as a "gender identity crisis," claiming that the board member wants to be known as either Paul, "which is a man's name," or Ms. Bixler.
"Not only does he appear in front of the children and insist that the children define him as a woman, but he sits on the board and he's making decisions for these children," she finished.
Bixler transitioned in 2017 after their wife of 36 years, Candace, passed away. In an interview earlier this year with AZCentral, she said she's gotten mostly positive reactions since transitioning. [caption id="attachment_370931" align="alignnone" width="1312"]

She spent decades as a teacher, coach and principal in Arizona and Texas. Records are unclear, but she may be the first transgender woman to hold an elected office in Arizona.
Speaking of her decision to run as a board member, Bixler said: "I thought, 'shoot, what I know is public education. And right here in Arizona, they could use me.''
On the Liberty Elementary School District website, Bixler said her agenda is "free appropriate education."
"'Free appropriate education.' Sound familiar? I hope so", she wrote.
"The words free and appropriate are a promise. A promise rooted in the Fourteenth Amendment and guaranteed in the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
"All this promise asks is to attend. I believe that this is every child's constitutional, more importantly, human right. I believe in public education."
When it comes to her keeping the name Paul, she said it's about believing she's the person she always was, despite her transition.
