JOE is now casting side hustlers to be part of an upcoming documentary

Homenews

We’re on the hunt for brilliant freelancers who would like to be featured in Real Side Hustlers, a brand new JOE documentary project.

Up and down the country, busy bees have been transforming their hobbies into hustles, delivering quality products and services or creating content, while earning a pretty penny on the side.

We’re talking streamers who have taken their love of the video game outside of their bedrooms and across the web. Budding jewellery designers who have launched their own mini stores on Etsy. Animal lovers who have set up their own pet-sitting or dog-walking businesses. Bakers whipping up wedding cakes from their own kitchens. Pilates instructors growing their own brands. Up-and-coming upcyclers who know their way round upholstery.  We could go on all day!

More often than not, these Real Side Hustlers are getting mini shifts in before or after work, grinding throughout the weekends or balancing multiple jobs – whatever it takes to get that dream off the ground.

Sounds like you? We are looking for Real Side Hustlers to be part of a brand new JOE documentary, which is supported by HMRC. The series will capture the grit of the grind and the passion poured into each project, as well as informing other budding entrepreneurs about the importance of tax compliance while hustling. After all, if you make over £1,000 a year on the side, you need to declare it to HMRC. Not sure if you need to declare? You can check if you need to tell HMRC about additional income right here

If you would like to be part of Real Side Hustlers, we want to hear from you. Email peter.cooney@joemediagroup.ietelling us a little bit about yourself and your side hustle, and we’ll be in touch with selected entries. Good luck!
