Meghan Markle’s dad has reportedly changed his mind about walking his daughter down the aisle.

On Monday, Thomas Markle pulled out of the impending royal wedding after it emerged that he had sold pictures of himself to a photo agency.

Mr. Markle told how he suffered a heart attack six days ago, but that he discharged himself from hospital so he could travel for the wedding.

He had been scheduled to walk his daughter down the aisle, but said that he made the decision as he did not want to “embarrass” her.

However, it has now been reported that he wants to fly to England for the royal wedding after Meghan reached out to him – but there’s a slight problem.

He told TMZ that he was back in the hospital after experiencing “serious chest pains” and the doctors are performing a series of tests on him.

According to the 73-year-old, doctors told him his heart was “seriously damaged” after the heart attack a week ago.

He also told the publication that his daughter had reached out to him on Monday, however he was not near his phone.

She is said to have reached out to him via text, telling him that she loves him and is concerned for his health – and he says she has no ill feelings towards him over the deal with paparazzi agency.

He said that he has now reconsidered it, and believes what he did with the photos was “stupid” but not serious enough to miss his wedding.

Adding that he hopes to make the journey to the UK, he said:

“I hate the idea of missing one of the greatest moments in history and walking my daughter down the aisle.”

He said that if the doctors let him out in time, he will make the journey to travel to the wedding.
