Man stabbed to death in Kensington and Chelsea is the 43rd victim of fatal knife crime in London this year

Detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Kensington

Police were called at approximately 10.21pm to reports of a stabbing on Cathcart road, SW5. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was found with multiple stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of the medical teams, he died at the scene shortly after 11pm. His next of kin have been informed, although formal identification awaits. A post-mortem will take place in due course. Detectives from the homicide and major crime command are investigating. A murder investigation has been opened. A crime scene remains in place.
