While the NYPD say the cause of death appears to be natural causes and there is no indication of foul play, the timing of her passing is rather poignant and eerie, as
the two men initially accused of killing her father were exonerated in a court hearing this past Thursday.
New York County Supreme Court, Ellen Biben, granted the motion to vacate the convictions of Muhammad A. Aziz and the late Khalil Islam, who are now deemed to have been wrongfully convicted over the assassination.
Meanwhile, Mujahid Abdul Halim (also known as Thomas Hagan) - the one man who confessed to participating in Malcolm X's shooting back in 1965 - now
lives a quiet life in Brooklyn as well.
