Depp launched his NFT project earlier this year
Johnny Depp has seemingly addressed his daughter’s silence during his defamation trial with Amber Heard in some artwork from his NFT collection.
Throughout the much-publicised trial, Lily-Rose kept a very low profile. She posted only once on her social media during the trial, to mark her 23rd birthday on May 28.
And this caused several Depp fans to launch abuse her way online for not speaking out in support of her dad.

It looks like Depp has also taken a subtle swipe at his daughter as well.
Several of the pieces of art in his NFT collection, entitled ‘Never Fear Truth‘, are of Lily-Rose. But on some of the images, the words “silence, exile, cunning” and “words become feeble” are written across her face.
Depp shares Lily-Rose with his ex-wife Vanessa Paradis. The two are also parents to 20-year-old Jack Depp, but he does not featured in any of Depp’s NFTs, Buzzfeed reports.

Depp announced his NFT project in January this year.
Along with friends and family, his collection of art also features portraits of celebrities such as Marlon Brando, Heath Ledger and Al Pacino.
The art has been animated in 11,111 NFTs, which are digital assets bought and sold using blockchain technology and have no physical form, existing only digitally.

A quarter of all the proceeds from his NFT sales will be donated to charities Depp supports, NME reports.
In a statement, Depp said: “I’ve always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.
“In turn, we decided to release a series of portraits, but in a way that could also give something back. Having the opportunity to salute my supporters and support the charities that have been so important to my family is an incredible gift. I hope we can create a new community of friends around these NFTs. My involvement in the NFT space has just begun.”
