ISIS prisoner escapes execution and appears to kill his AK 47-wielding captors

This video may be disturbing to some viewers.

ISIS are notorious for their barbarity.

Barely a day goes by when so-called Islamic State fighters aren’t releasing more horrific execution videos of captured soldiers, alleged ‘spies’ and civilians.

Jihadis marked the Islamic holy day of Eid by hanging dozens of prisoners from meat hooks in a slaughterhouse and killing them in their latest atrocity.

But another video has emerged of an apparent ISIS execution which didn’t exactly go to plan.

It shows three captives being led out into the desert by AK 47-wielding gunmen seemingly prepared for execution.

The men, who it seems may be Kurdish, are ordered to kneel in the dirt in front of the camera with their arms bound behind their backs.

But moments before they are executed, the man on the right manages to floor one of the gunmen with a reverse headbutt and steal his assault rifle.

The camera falls to the floor and doesn’t capture footage of what happened next. But it sounds like a firefight ensues between the escaped prisoner and his captors and the guy behind the camera doesn’t seem like he’s in a good way.

The footage has not been verified and it’s unclear the location it was shot. But if it is legitimate and it has made it onto the internet, we’re guessing the escapee must have made it out alive.

It comes just weeks after a sharp-shooting British SAS sniper foiled another attempted execution near the Syrian city of Raqqa.

The marksman took out an ISIS executioner and three of his henchmen who were preparing to kill 12 hostages with a flamethrower.

The special forces sniper killed all four men with a single bullet from his .50 Barrett high powered rifle which exploded the fuel tank on the flame-thrower.
