Capitol Hill was stormed by Trump supporters on Wednesday

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has announced that she is preparing Articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump, following violent scenes in Capitol Hill on Wednesday night. Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building in Washington DC, attacking police in the process. The US Congress was in the process of certifying Joe Biden's election win, but the sitting was suspended as members of Congress were evacuated from the building. Since Joe Biden was projected winner of the US presidential election on November 7th, incumbent President Donald Trump (and his supporters) have doubted the legitimacy of the election.
