Here’s how you get all the good stuff from Amazon Prime Day

All you need to do

Carl Anka

Happy Prime Day everyone!

Not quite a day of commemoration for the greatest Autobot that ever lived (sorry Bumblebee), instead Prime Day is where Amazon offer up a series of flash deals on a range of items.

It’s short, sharp and cheap. Many items are only on sale for a few hours with the entire occasion ending at midnight Tuesday 12 July. Miss them and they’re gone.

This year Prime Day is, like the name suggests, exclusively available to Amazon customers who pay for the £79 a year Amazon Prime service.

BUT, if you’re not currently a member, there is a workaround if you want some Prime Day deals.

Amazon do offer a 30 day free trial of their service, so if you sign up to that for today, you can take part in Prime Day. Just make sure you sent a memo in your phone to cancel your Prime subscription during the first week of August if you don’t wish to continue having the service.

Fire tablets and Fire TVs being prepared at Amazon's Fulfilment Centre in Hemel Hempstead - both devices will be available with more than 30% discount for Prime members as part of thousands of deals this Prime Day, Tuesday 12th July

Right, that’s that done. Here’s a look at the some of the best things going on Prime Day.
