Outgoing flights have come to a halt

All flights heading out of Heathrow airport have been halted after a drone was sighted, the airport has said. The airport's spokesperson has clarified that they are working with the police to prevent any threats. "We are responding to a drone sighting at Heathrow and are working closely with the Met Police to prevent any threat to operational safety. As a precautionary measure, we have stopped departures while we investigate.
