GTA 6 trailer is already breaking world records

The world is waiting with bated breath for the GTA 6 trailer

With the previous Grand Theft Auto having been released back in 2013, it's no surprise that gamers are on tenterhooks waiting to find out more details about the franchise's sixth installment.

Last week, Rockstar announced that the game's trailer was set to be released on Tuesday 6 December.

People were so excited about this fact that it has already broken internet records - despite not even being released yet!

Video Games Chronicle reports that Rockstar's tweet became the most-liked gaming post ever on X, formerly known as Twitter, amassing an impressive 1.8 million likes in the first 24 hours.

Twitter users went crazy in the replies to the post, making their excitement more than clear.

"Can’t believe it’s actually happening," one person wrote.

A second put: "This is gonna change gaming forever."

While a third said: "Let’s goooooooooooooo."

The previous holder of the most-liked gaming tweet record was, you guessed it, also in relation to GTA 6.

It comes from just last month when Rockstar confirmed that the game's first trailer would be arriving in December.
