Get paid £30k to eat cheese as ‘Chief snacking officer’ and travel the world

If you are in need of a job, then you'll be pleased to know that a snack company is offering to pay £30k for you to eat cheese, but there is one strange caveat. Bar snack brand Brew City is looking to hire a Chief Snacking Officer to sample its products and travel the world, sounds pretty cushty, right? The lucky person will be gifted 365 days' worth of cheesy products and then be chauffeured to the pub where Brew City say you should enjoy their snacks. If that hasn't sold you, then you and two friends will also be shipped off to Boston, America, for an all-expenses-paid research trip. "You don't actually have to do anything but collect your money and enjoy a year of cheese," the terms and conditions explain. But there's one specific and slightly odd condition- you must be called Gary. BrewCity is looking to unseat Gary Lineker as the King of snacks and replace Walker's face with a Gary of their own. The process is fairly simple and is spelt out on their Instagram page, which details how judges will decide the final winner. Such celebrity judges include YouTuber JaackMaate and Instagram influencer Kate Ovens. "If you’re called Gary, live in the UK, love beer, are a cheese fanatic and most importantly can spot a superior snack when you see one, then here’s what you need to do to apply," said a Brew City spokesperson. "Simply head over to Brew City’s Instagram page, hit the follow button, like the post here and comment beneath to share what your first act as CSO would be and why." "Who wouldn’t want to get paid to eat a year's supply of cheese?" said Product manager Becky Slater. "It might even be worth changing your name to Gary." Entries close on May 13, so get cracking Gary's.
