Footage from the train on Friday morning shows the device in flames in the carriage.

Police in London have confirmed that the explosion on a tube train in the city on Friday morning was caused by the detonation of an Improvised Explosive Device. "This was a detonation of an improvised explosive device. The scene currently remains cordoned off and the investigation continues... "Londoners can expect to see an enhanced police presence, particularly across the transport system across the day." Twenty-two people are being treated in hospital, mostly for burn injuries.
