The New York Police Department has come under fire after former tennis star James Blake was wrongly arrested.
An NYPD officer misidentified Blake as a suspect in a fraudulent credit card ring, and tackled him to the ground before putting him in handcuffs.
The officer was subsequently stripped of his gun and badge, while Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner William J. Bratton have since apologised to Blake for the aggressive arrest.
The NYPD released CCTV footage of the incident, which was shown on US TV network ABC. Calling it a 'rough arrest' would be an understatement...
