Addressing the series of allegations and charges for the first time via a representative's statement to Variety, Miller says: “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment.
“I want to apologise to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behaviour. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
Following an earlier pair of arrests in Hawaii in the space a few weeks, Miller disappeared and had been evading authorities, even going so far as to taunt them by sharing a number of cryptic social media posts before deleting their accounts entirely.
Shortly after dropping off the radar, they were spotted in a supermarket by a fan who began filming and was ultimately threatening by Miller, who said "I [could] aways just knock you out".
