Here is the exact date Britain is set to be hotter that Rio with 30 degree days ahead.
While the temperatures have become milder since recent scorching days, the Met Office has said that an official heatwave is likely to be upon us again soon.
From tomorrow, the mercury is set to climb to 27-29C across the east and southeast before hitting 30C on Sunday.
By Monday, 33C is forecast for London, meaning it will be hotter there than the Brazilian capital, which will only see highs of 25C on the day.
Meteorologist at the Met Office, Alex Deakin has said a 'dip' in the Atlantic's jet stream will push a high-pressure system towards the British Isles.
However, thanks for the north's cold front, there will be a 'strong contrast' in conditions between different parts of the country.
Areas to the northwest will experience much cooler and wetter conditions on Saturday, only set to see highs of between 14-15C.
"How your day pans out on Saturday will really depend on the position of this weather front - it could be sitting southern Scotland and Northern Ireland, it could be sitting across northern England and North Wales," added Deakin.
Rain in the north will 'fizzle out' on Sunday, but the temperature contrast will remain, with temperatures building into the 30's in the southeast.
The heatwave will peak on Monday, with Deakin explaining: "Across central and eastern England, temperatures will be over 30C, 32-33C possible across parts of southeast England.
"Not as hot elsewhere, but still a bit warmer on Monday, for Scotland and Northern Ireland compared to Sunday, as that warmer air is finally getting in here."
Though some heat could remain in the east and southeast, Tuesday is expected to bring the return of the cold front.
We'll take what we can!
