Obviously not about the brave men and women that laid down their lives for the freedom we all enjoy today – well, according to some folk anyway
Some people thought they noticed the on-off UKIP leader NOT wearing a poppy as he met with US president elect Donald Trump…and on the weekend of Remembrance Sunday too.
Many saw he wasn’t wearing one of the traditional cardboard poppies you’ll buy off one of those dear old war veterans on the high street.
But it seemed the patriotic Brit wasn’t even wearing his tiny £40 gold poppy lapel which he wore on the Marr Show the other day.

It seems like he swapped this enduring symbol of remembrance, which millions wear as a mark of respect on Remembrance Sunday, for a badge with the US and British flags on during Saturday’s meeting.
It didn’t appear he was wearing it during this appearance on Fox News either as Britain fell silent to remember its war dead in services up and down the country.

Obviously people leaped straight on it and started giving Farage a hard time over it – especially after The Cookie Monster wore one on the One Show as a mark of respect.
