The actor admitted her conversation with Grint in the reunion was the 'most emotional moment' for her
Emma Watson has said she was "taken aback" by comments from Rupert Grint during the Harry Potter 20th anniversary reunion.
Along with Daniel Radcliffe, the pair starred in the films for 10 years, a time spanning from their childhood to young adulthood.
So it's not surprising an emotional bond developed between the cast, and that there were some moving moments during the reunion.

And it was one of these moments that had a lasting impact on Emma.
In a particularly touching exchange from the special, Rupert has Emma welling up with tears as they reflect on their time together during the films, telling her: “We’re family, we always will be.
“It’s a strong bond, we’ll always be part of each other’s lives.”
Then, after a heartfelt embrace, he added “I love you,” before clarifying "as friends".
The pair then break out in laughter, but it sounds like Rupert's comments had a lasting impact on Watson.
Speaking to
Vogue magazine in a later interview, she admitted that their chat was "the most emotional moment" for her.

She continued: "When Rupert says things, he really means them. I was taken aback by how vulnerable and kind he was deciding to be so publicly.
"Similarly for Dan [Radcliffe], it really touched me how reflective he had been over the years about how different it had been for me as a girl."

During the HBO special, both Rupert and Emma admit that they struggled at times during production of the films, and considered quitting, with the fame and attention at such a young age feeling overwhelming.
Rupert added: “I also had sort of similar feelings to Emma, contemplating what life would be like if I called it a day.
“It just didn’t really occur to us that we were all probably kind of having similar feelings.”
Whilst Daniel, Emma, and Rupert all do keep in touch, it's not through a group chat.
Emma said that Daniel and Rupert "both hate WhatsApp and their phones in general" and that all three of them "really try and stay off electronics."
But she revealed that Rupert often sends her pictures of his daughter and that she and Daniel "generally try and calm each other's nerves."
