The message "Gaza is not for sale" was painted onto the Turnberry fairway.

Donald Trump’s Scottish golf course has been vandalised by pro-Palestine activists.

Palestine Action said on Saturday that it had struck overnight at the 800-acre Trump Turnberry resort in South Ayrshire.

Trump Turnberry, which has three golf courses and a century-old hotel, was purchased by the family in 2014 for a reputed $60million.

The group say the act at the resort is a response to the US President's plans to 'destroy, ethnically cleanse, and take over' the Gaza Strip.

Last month, Trump shared an AI-generated video depicting what Gaza would look like under his control on social media, sparking significant backlash.

The footage, which the 78-year-old shared without comment on his Truth Social platform, showed the bombed and obliterated city turned into a luxurious holiday destination – with exotic beaches, Dubai-style skyscrapers, luxury yachts and people partying.

In early February, Trump was accused of “openly calling for ethnic cleansing” in Gaza.

While speaking alongside Israeli leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said that the US will ‘own’ Gaza and that the two million Palestinians living there would go to ‘various domains’.

He also hinted at potentially sending US troops to Gaza saying: “We’ll do what’s necessary.”

Now, in a post on X, Palestine Action have said "whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach."

“Palestine Action rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes," a spokesperson for the group added.

Aerial footage of the course shows the words “Gaza is not for sale” daubed in 10ft-high white letters on part of the course.

The group also spray painted the club house and dug up the greens at some of the course’s most prestigious holes – used in numerous Open Championships.

"The most expensive golf course in Britain, Trump's Turnberry golf resort, got a visit by Palestine Action," a statement from the organisation read.

"No longer can ordinary people sit by whilst the American administration arms Israel and makes plans to ethnically cleanse Gaza. Palestine belongs to Palestinians."

Just a few weeks ago, activists from Palestine Action targeted the BBC’s Broadcasting House headquarters in London, smashing glass doors and spraying the building with red paint.

In a statement claiming responsibility for the damage, the group said it had covered the building in “blood-red paint” and broken windows in a protest against what it called the BBC’s “pro-Israel bias”.
