A date has been confirmed for when Phillip Schofield will return to This Morning following his brother's conviction for sexually abusing a teenage boy.
On Monday, Timothy Schofield was found guilty at Exeter Crown Court of sexually abusing the boy over a period of three years.
He was charged with 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019.
He was convicted of three counts of causing a child to watch sexual activity and three of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
The civilian police officer was also found guilty of three counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and two of sexual activity with a child after five hours deliberation.
His TV presenter brother issued a damning statement on social media in which he welcomed the guilty verdict and said he "no longer has a brother."
Phillip has been taking pre-planned leave from his role presenting This Morning during the trial, but it has now been confirmed he will be returning to the daytime show after on Monday April 17, after his Easter break.
"Phillip is on pre-planned leave and is due to return after the Easter holidays," a TV insider told The Sun.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will replace Phillip and Holly Willoughby during the two-week Easter break.
Timothy Schofield has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on May 19.
