Britain's most complained about TV programme has been revealed.
Data collated by TECC revealed that ITV's news and talk show Good Morning Britain received the most complaints, with over 75,000 letters being sent to Ofcom.
Love Island came second with 42,494 complaints. while Britain's Got Talent was the third-most complained about show. Coronation Street was the most-complained about soap drama.
The ITV2 reality show made headlines in 2022 after having the most controversial moment, with over 3,000 people condemning one episode in particular in which viewers accused the episode of featuring alleged misogynistic and bullying behaviour.
British soaps were relatively low in terms of complaints with Marcus Saxton, Chairman of the IBVTA and CEO of TECC, explaining: "We investigated British soaps to find out which received the highest number of Ofcom complaints, between 2020 and 2022, and found that Coronation Street was the most complained about TV soap.
"However, overall complaints about soaps only make up 1.42 per cent of all of the Ofcom complaints in recent years, and the majority haven't received enough to even make the list, indicating that it's a much less polarising format than other TV shows!"
Saxton added: "We also looked into the number of Ofcom complaints made against British TV programmes, more generally, and found that Good Morning Britain was the most complained about show, with over 75,000 complaints made between 2020 and 2022.
"However, reality TV was the format which received the most complaints overall."
