Ant McPartlin has been charged with drink driving.
The 42-year-old was arrested on Sunday after losing control of his Mini. The crash hospitalised a three-year-old girl and Ant failed a roadside breathalyser test.
He was charged today and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on April 4.
McPartlin lost control of his black Mini on a roundabout and crashed into a green Mini containing a couple and their young child.
Saturday Night Takeaway has been cancelled this weekend and the slot in the ITV schedule has been filled with The Voice.
Today Dec announced he would present the final two shows alone.
He wrote on the pair’s Twitter account: “Whilst I never thought I’d be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we’ve decided that the remaining two shows, of this series of Saturday night takeaway will go ahead.
“We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale, and we will honour that.
“Everyone at ITV and the takeaway team feel we owe it to the audience to complete the series.
“Dec x.”
