ITV confirm Saturday Night Takeaway to continue with Dec going solo for first time

They have revealed the date that the show will return.

ITV have today confirmed that Saturday Night Takeaway will be returning to our TV screens, with Declan Donnelly presenting the show alone for the first time ever. The decision has been made despite it being previously believed that the show would be cancelled following the the network's rescheduling to replace Takeaway with The Voice UK this coming Saturday. The show will be finishing off its current series run with Dec at the helm alone, however, whilst Ant McPartlin returns to rehab following his arrest on suspicion of drink driving on Sunday. The next episode will be airing on the 31st of March and the live series finale, which is to be filmed in Universal Orlando Resort, Florida, will go ahead as planned.
