Benjamin Mendy pleads not guilty to nine charges of sexual offences

Mendy is due to face trial on July 25

Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has entered not guilty pleas to nine charges of sexual offences against six women. The 27-year-old, of Prestbury, Cheshire, denied all the charges - which include seven of rape - at Chester Crown Court. The Frenchman is also accused of sexual assault and attempted rape and is due to face trial at the court on July 25.
