Well that's a relief.
You'll no doubt recognise Jon Kay as a presenter on BBC Breakfast alongside Naga Munchetty and Louise Minchin, even with his newly grown beard. But he combines that gig with being the West of England Correspondent for BBC News, and is often seen reporting on very serious stories indeed.

But many of the viewers at home were more than a little concerned about Kay's well-being, due to what looked like a perilous situation for the reporter.

As it seemed to be inches away from Kay, the footage suddenly cut to veteran anchor Simon McCoy back in the studio and the nation was left in suspense...

Thankfully, Kay was able to confirm he was very much alive and well on social media - and literally put things into perspective. Phew!!
