'That lady is just bad luck'

Manchester City officially won their fifth title in six years at the weekend after Mikel Arteta's side were beaten by Nottingham Forest, ending their slim hopes of winning a first league crown since 2004.

For the majority of the season it's been the Gunners leading the pack having spent 248 days at the top of the table - the longest amount of time a side has spent at the top without winning the Premier League - only to fall at the last hurdle.

Since March, Arsenal have been in free-fall and some fans are highlighting Kardashian's visit to watch the side that month as the reason behind their decline.

The social media star was in attendance at the Emirates on the night of their Europa League exit to Sporting CP, the same game that defender William Saliba went off due to injury, ruling him out for the season.

This has left some Gunners supporters blaming the 'Kardashian curse'. One fan wrote: "Arsenal lost the title when Kim Kardashian visited them. That lady is just bad luck, Most especially to those guys whom she and her sisters have dated. I feel sorry for arsenal fans mehn, leading the title race then losing it at the end."

Another said: "The fall of Arsenal started when she visited the Emirates, I'll never forgive you Kim Kardashian."

"Since the day Kim Kardashian went to the Emirates Stadium to watch Arsenal, I knew they would crash out of the Europa League and bottle the Premier League. The Kardashian curse!" tweeted a third.
