Rapper Aderahman Boumzough jailed after boasting about 15-year-old’s murder in music video

Teen’s killer sentenced to 35 years

Rene Graham was shot by drill rapper Aderahman Boumzough at Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park in Ladbroke Grove on 21 July 2024. 

Boumzough, who was 25 at the time, fled after the attack, but not before allegedly turning his gun on another person and attempting to fire again. The weapon reportedly jammed, preventing a second shooting.

Detectives eventually identified and arrested Boumzough, with CCTV and data recovered from his phone helping to establish his movements around the time of the killing. He was later convicted and sentenced to 35 years in prison at Woolwich Crown Court.

The court heard the chilling murder rap

Among the material recovered from his phone was a video in which Boumzough appeared to reference what had happened. 

In the recording, obtained by The Mirror, he rapped: “Don’t you hate it when your ting jams? I was prepared to take a soul, but Allah had a different plan.”

Judge Simon James condemned Boumzough’s behaviour as “callous and cold-blooded” during sentencing. He also paid tribute to Graham, describing him as a young person who had his “whole life to realise his dreams and aspirations”.
